Eco-credentials
The building has been designed for efficient use of energy and resources, with minimum waste. For example:
It will aim to harvest 1,127,000 litres of rainwater every year (that’s nearly enough to fill half an Olympic-sized swimming pool) - The biomass boiler will save around 529 tonnes of CO2 per year (that’s how much 94 Bristolians use in one year)
- The solar panels generate 25KW of heat to the hot water system (10 full kettles would produce the same amount of power)
