Book borrowing

Books can be borrowed via our Click and Collect Reservation Service.  Please note that many of the books in the Study Centres are also available as e-books, which can be accessed online through the Library catalogue search box, as well as online journals.

Please reserve your books by visiting the Library Catalogue and logging on to your account.  Instructions for accessing and using the Library Catalogue can be found in the training videos below. Instructions about placing a reservation can be found in the Basic Search video. After you have placed a reservation you will be contacted to arrange an appointment to come and collect your books.

Book Returns

Books can be returned to the book bins situated outside the Study Centres.  Returned books will be quarantined for a 72 hour period.

Book Renewals

Books will be renewed automatically for two- week periods until the books are returned or recalled for use by another student.

Printing and copying

Printing and copying facilities are located in every Study Centre and around the buildings at each site. You may drop in to the Study Centre to print your course work without an appointment but please note that if the printers are busy you may have to queue or asked to return at a later time.

You are allocated with £5 print credit when you start your course. When you have used up your credit, you can purchase more from Student Services Reception at any site via the college student cashless payment card.
