Terms and conditions and entry requirements
Competition is open to all City of Bristol College students and staff, excluding those directly involved in the shortlisting and judging entries.
Entries should be submitted in A4 or A5 format.
Send your entries, clearly stating which category you’re entering to: email@example.com or by post to: Christmas Card Competition 2017, Room CG3,E19, City of Bristol College, College Green Centre, St George’s Road, Bristol, BS1 5UA
You can submit entries yourself or as part of a group.
Maximum number of entries individual / group or a combination of both is 3.
All entries must be your own original work.
The theme of the competition is ‘Bristol Christmas’. You may interpret this as you wish. However entries which are deemed offensive to any individual, groups or organisations will not be considered.
You can use any media you wish this includes: computer art, digital art, graphic design, analogue materials (pens, pencils, felt tip, watercolours, charcoal, acrylic paint, etc).
City of Bristol regrets that it may not be able to return original entries. Therefore you may submit original or copies of your artwork.
Please submit entries including your name, title and contact details.
If your entry is shortlisted you will win a £25 Amazon gift voucher. If your entry is the overall winner you will receive a £100 Amazon gift voucher. If the winning entry is by a group then the prize will be shared.
The name of the winner(s) will go on the back of the card as part of the credits.
City of Bristol College accepts no responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post or due to computer error or wifi / network error.
The prizes as stated are not transferable to another individual(s) and no cash or alternative prize will be offered.
In the event of a prize being unavailable, City of Bristol College reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
The winner(s) agree(s) to use their name, photograph and disclosure of personal details which include age, enrolled course and/or job title and will co-operate with any reasonable requests by City of Bristol College related to post winning publicity.
Unless otherwise stated the winner(s) will be determined by judging process undertaken by City of Bristol College from entries received by the closing date and within the terms and conditions stated.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s) If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, City of Bristol College reserves the right to offer the prize the next eligible entrant.
Confirmation of the prize will be made in writing to the winner(s).
Failure of the winner(s) to respond or failure to meet eligibility requirement may result in forfeiture of the prize.
The decision of the judge(s) is final based on the criteria set out in terms and conditions and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.
City of Bristol College reserves the right to withdraw, or modify any of the terms and conditions at any time without giving notice.
A list of winners will be made available in writing by City of Bristol College.
Deadline for entries is midnight Sunday 22nd October 2017.
