By train

Bristol has two main stations, Temple Meads and Parkway, which connect to all the main railway networks.

There are frequent trains between the two stations. From Temple Meads the Avonmouth/Severn Beach train line runs regularly and stops at Montpelier Station. The travel time from Temple Meads to Montpelier Station is around 9 minutes and Montpelier Station is a 10 minute walk from Ashley Down Centre.

By road

From the M4

Leave the M32 at junction 2 and join the B4469, Muller Road, following signs to the college.
Continue along Muller Road, passing under a railway bridge, then turn left into Ralph Road.
Turn left onto the B4052, Ashley Down Road, where you will find the main entrance to the Ashley Down Centre on the right-hand side (Gate 1).

From Bristol City Centre

Join the A38 northbound, signposted to Gloucester / Cotham / Redland.
After approximately 2 miles, turn right into Ashley Down Road, B4052 at lights.
The main entrance to the Ashley Down Centre is located on the right-hand side.

From Bath

Follow signs for the A4 Bristol.
Take right fork onto A4320 towards City Centre / M32.
Continue along A4320 and then take second exit at roundabout onto Lower Ashley Road, signposted St Pauls / Montpelier.
Turn right at traffic lights junction onto A4052 Ashley Down Road.
Continue up hill and the main entrance to Ashley Down Centre is located on the left-hand side.

Car Parking

The Ashley Down Centre has student car parks (disabled students, visitors and staff).
