It’s not too late to apply!

You may still be hunting around for a place at College - don’t worry, you've still time! Or you may have already applied, so what next? To help you, here's our step-by-step guide to our application process.
If you are applying from overseas, please read the details of how to apply.

Step 1 - Application

Once you've chosen a course (or courses) complete an application form. Find these at the back of the prospectus, or

Then send it to: Admissions Office, City of Bristol College, Ashley Down Centre, PO Box 2887, Bristol BS2 2BB.

Step 2 - Confirmation

Within two weeks you'll be sent an acknowledgement card or letter.

Step 3 - Interviews

Photograph: A student completing an application form.If you've applied for a full-time course you'll be interviewed. The interview will give you more information and help you decide the best course for you. (If you apply for more than one course you'll need to attend an interview for each course. Don't worry if you're invited for an interview for your second choice of course before your first one - you'll be interviewed for all your choices.) Some courses require you to sit an assessment test before interview, but we'll tell you before we invite you in.

Step 4 - Offer

After the interview, if you and the College feel the course is the right one for you, a place will be offered. You'll receive an offer letter from us confirming what was discussed in the interview, including confirmation of any conditions (e.g. exam grades) you need to meet to take up the place.

Step 5 - Acceptance

If you decide to accept the offer you should return the acceptance form enclosed with the offer letter. You can accept as many places as you are offered.

Step 6 - Enrolment

Joining instructions will be sent to you during the first week of August, and after you have received your GCSE results. The letter will ask you to attend College on a specific day and time. The letter will explain the options available to you whether you meet, or fail to meet, the admission requirements.
