Critical Thinking
Do you know how to identify a flawed argument? Using concepts such as supposition, fallacy and inference you'll learn to express how they're flawed and win arguments. You'll then use these new-found skills to build your own cases to enter into hotly contested subjects such as human cloning, drugs in sport and euthanasia. The emphasis of the course will be on the skills, rather than prescribed content, as the exams test students' ability to problem solve, evaluate and construct arguments.
