Biology
With gene technology, conservation and environmental issues making our headlines daily, there's never been a more exciting or challenging time to study biology. From micro-organisms to mammals, you'll learn about living organisms through a combination of lectures, self-directed study, practical investigation and a residential field trip. You'll discover the world under the microscope, how your body works and all about the mechanisms of inheritance. You'll be well placed to progress to Higher Education to study a choice of subjects including: medicine, dentistry, biology, zoology, marine biology, environmental science, nursing and midwifery. You will need Single Science C in Biology or Double Science BB at GCSE.
