You are required to pay all course costs at enrolment. The standard fee and the concession fee for each course appear at the bottom of each course description.

- Working Tax Credit (some recipients only)
- Pension Credit (some recipients only)
- Receiving income support, housing benefit, council tax benefit or income based JSA
- Asylum seeker in receipt of government means tested support

Important note for 16-18 year-olds
In order to qualify for your fees to be waived you must be aged 16-18 years on 31 August in the calendar year in which your course begins. This means that if you are under 19 years on 31 August 2010 and enrol on a course which starts during the autumn term 2010, you will not be charged a course fee. If, however, your course starts after 1 January 2011, you will be charged a fee unless you are under 19 years on 31 August 2011. If you require assistance with paying a fee please contact Learner Services 0117 312 5000.
To claim entitlement to a fee concession you will need to produce valid evidence of benefit (or entitlement to benefit) at the time of enrolment. The following documents are acceptable:
- Benefit payment book
- Letter from Social Services
- Award letter
- Letter from Benefit Office
- TC602 (pages 1+2).
Please note:
- Photocopied documents or ES40 are NOT acceptable
- Published fees and fee concessions do not apply to overseas students. If you are unsure of your status, please contact Learner Services
- Not all courses offer a fee concession and in such cases full fees will be charged.
Fees for Courses that Last for More than One Year
All fees quoted are for the first year of the course only.
