About the course

Would you say that you are a 'people person'? Do you enjoy speaking to and helping customers? Customer service is important in every job and the best customer service people are often the most successful. You will learn how to deal with customers, resolve problems and provide the best service possible. There are so many different jobs that require excellent customer service skills that this Apprenticeship could be a springboard to a great career.

Entry Requirements

Customer Service apprentices must be confident when dealing with people and have the passion to provide the best possible service. You will also need a job which provides you with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week and paying a minimum of £3.30 per week.

What will I do on this course?

Mandatory modules

As part of your Apprenticeship you will complete:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service
  • BTEC Level 2 in Customer Service
  • Functional Skills Maths and English

Units that are available are:

  • Communicate using customer service language
  • Follow the rules to deliver customer service
  • Maintain a positive and customer friendly attitude
  • Do your job in a customer friendly way
  • Resolve customer service problems

Anyone who is interested in learning excellent customer service skills and would like to work with customers on a daily basis.

How Is this course assessed?

An assessor will visit the apprentice regularly in the workplace. The apprentice will attend college to complete Functional Skills in English and Maths if applicable.

What could I do next?

When you complete your level 2 you may be able to progress onto the level 3 Apprenticeship if your job role allows.
