About the course

This course could be the first step on the ladder of a new career in bookkeeping or accounts. It will give the opportunity to cover all the essential bookkeeping criteria up to and including a trial balance. 

Entry Requirements

Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills are required for this course.

Candidates have the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of basic bookkeeping routines concerning the double entry system, including:  

  • Making and receiving payments  
  • VAT calculations
  • Trial balance
  • Cash book
  • Documentation
