About the course

This full-time course is designed to give you a solid introduction to the legal profession. You will gain a recognised qualification to enable you to progress to a career in the legal sector or continue to a higher level of study. You will, as part of your programme, spend 30hrs on a relevant work placement.

Entry Requirements

  • 4 GCSEs grade 3 or above (including English and Maths)
  • Reference from previous course

If you do not have your GCSE maths and English at grade 4 or above you will need to study them alongside your level 2 Legal Studies Diploma. More information will be provided to you at your interview.

What will I do on this course?

During the course you will study aspects of the English System, the court structure and the law making process. You will look at key areas of law including:

  • Criminal Law
  • The Legal environment
  • Contract Law
  • Civil Litigation
