About the course

Word Processing is a widely used tool in modern offices today and the course will enable you to learn substantial skills and provide efficient office support. This unit can contribute to a full level 2 qualification in IT.

The IT Centre opening times are:

  • Monday  9:00 – 16:30
  • Tuesday  12:30 – 20:00
  • Wednesday  9:00 – 16:30
  • Thursday 09:00 – 16:30
  • Friday 09:00 – 12:00

It is advised to pick a time that you can attend each week regularly as this has proved the most effective with past learners.

  • You do not need any formal qualifications but will need to have a good command of written English to be able to follow the content and assessment materials.

This course is for anyone wishing to learn more advanced techniques using word processing software to produce detailed documents such as reports.
