About the course

 This in-depth design course covers all aspects of information design, marketing, advertising, print production and printing.

Entry Requirements

This course is primarily intended as Continuous Profession Development, applicants will probably have studied at HNC or degree level or have some basic knowledge of InDesign plus either Illustrator or Photoshop. All applicants are interviewed either personally or by telephone to assess their suitability for the course.

  • Communication across linguistic and cultural barriers  
  • Meaning and messages
  • Audience
  • Time and sequence  - narrative, time-based media
Who is it for?

This module is particularly appropriate for graphic and web designers who wish to further develop skills in information design. It will also be useful for those currently involved with aspects of information design, marketing, advertising, print production, and printing.

How Is this course assessed?

Assessment will be 100% coursework comprising of a practical studio-based assignment. 

What could I do next?

Full-time or part-time Foundation Degree in Graphic Design with Interactive Multimedia or another Bitesize course such as Editorial Design.

Additional cost

You will need to purchase a USB stick with a good capacity (approxiamtely 5gb) to back-up your digital files and possibly one or two of the recommended reference books.
