Entry Requirements

You will need to  

  • have a keen interest in photography
  • bring your own digital SLR camera
  • bring your own laptop if you have one but Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Elements software will be required
What will I do on this course?

You will learn  

  • about the general features common to your digital camera
  • how to compose your photographs to the best effect
  • how to upload the pictures you have taken to a computer
  • how to e-mail them
  • As the course progresses you will be shown how to edit and manipulate your photographs using Photoshop on Mac computers
  • You will be encouraged and taught how to take specific images week on week using your camera's auto and non-auto controls
  • as a part of the course you will take part in lighting work shops
Who is it for?

It is suitable for complete beginners or anyone with some photographic experience who would like to learn more about digital technology.
