What will I do on this course?
You will reinforce and develop your skills and confidence to communicate in the target language in simple everyday situations and learn more about the grammar of the Spanish language both orally and in writing.
Learners will work in small groups or in pairs using a variety of enjoyable learning methods and resources to describe events in the past, present and future. Homework will be set to offer an opportunity for independent study, backed up with on-line resources on Moodle.
There will be a focus on:
- speaking and listening
- reading and writing
- topics such as, describing daily routine, talking about what you did yesterday or last week, asking someone’s opinion and giving opinion and discussing plans and future projects
- grammar to support your learning
Who is it for?
For people who may have spent at least 24 months learning Spanish. This is not suitable if you are a complete beginner.
How Is this course assessed?
Through informal oral and writing assessment.
What could I do next?
After successfully completing the Pre-Intermediate Spanish Part 1 course, you will be able progress to Pre-Intermediate Spanish Part 2 course.
Your tutor will provide you with details of the course book (costing approximately £20) which you will need to purchase.
