Entry Requirements

To be operating at English level 1 or above

  • Total commitment with 100% attendance and punctuality
  • English and Maths GCSE grade D or above
  • The ability to communicate with people from every age group, social and ethnic background
  • Good organisation, enthusiasm, motivation and an ability to work with the general public
What will I do on this course?

As a hairdresser you will need to complete a range of hair services for a variety of clients. The services you will cover will be:

  • Hair cutting
  • Shampoo and conditioning
  • Colour Techniques
  • Blow drying
  • Creative finishing techniques
  • Advising and consulting with clients

This course is for mature students who wish to pursue a career in the hairdressing industry

How to apply

You can apply online through the website or come into college and complete an application form at the back of a prospectus. You will be required to attend an information session and complete an Online Initial Assessment in English to ensure your level of English meets the required standard to enable you to succeed on the course.
