About the course

Each learner will be assigned an Engagement and Progression Worker who will help them to explore their options and ideas for the future through group activities and one to one sessions. The learners get a six week package to help them progress into Education, Training or Employment. 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements to join the course. You will be invited in to meet a Engagement and Progression Worker who will explain the programme and help you decide if it is the right course for you.

What will I do on this course?

This is a 6 week programme which offers you the chance to work with experienced staff in a small group undertaking a range of exciting activities and workshops to help you decide your next step.You will also brush up your Maths and English skills and you will attend regular 1 to 1 sessions where you will set and review personal goals.

Who is it for?

The programme is designed for 16-18 year olds who are not yet ready to enter a full-time courses or are still considering their options in terms of future training or work.

There are no formal assessments for this course.

What could I do next?

Following the 6 week Engagement Programme you may want to progress to a full-time college course, join our 12-week Prince's Trust programme, or apply for an Apprenticeship or Employment. Your engagement and Progression Worker will help you decide on the most appropriate route for you.
