About the course
We offer maths courses from Entry 1 to GCSE level.
All applicants are required to attend an assessment that will determine the level of the course that they join.
The assessment will cover things like the four operations; fractions, decimals percentages; ratio and proportion; basic formulas; averages; area (rectangle, circles), volume and conversion of units; rounding; BIDMAS and problem solving (roughly).
There will be in year progression opportunities and regardless of the level you start you could progress and achieve GCSE. All successful applicants will need to do work outside the lessons in order to be able to achieve the best possible outcome.
The course is free to all adults who do not already hold a GCSE Maths A*- C, or 9 - 4.
