Funding opportunities
Funding Opportunities
Safeguarding the future of your business is crucial in the current economic climate. Yet balancing short-term budgets with the need to build for the future is a difficult challenge.
Stretch your training budgets further
As part of our service for employers, City of Bristol College identifies funding opportunities to help stretch your training budgets further. The College works closely with organisations, such as the Learning and Skills Council, in order to offer employers access to a range of funding initiatives.
Business advice
Our business advisers understand the complexities of funding streams and can help you access grants to help you offset your training costs.
Employers gain relevant high quality training at reduced costs without any of the effort of applying for funding themselves.
Train to Gain
Train to Gain is a major government-led initiative to help businesses upskill their staff.
Funding opportunities are available for a range of programmes for eligible candidates.
Funding for NVQs
NVQs at Level 2 could be offered at no cost to you or your employee, including voluntary staff.
Leadership and Management funding
If you have between 5 and 250 (full-time equivalent staff), this scheme offers funding to help you develop as a business leader and also to train your senior management team.
Apprenticeships
Taking on an Apprentice can provide businesses with a source of motivated and skilled staff. City of Bristol College can cover the full costs of training for 16-18 year olds and partially fund those aged 19 and over.
