City of Bristol College provides a full service to businesses offering training solutions to business problems.
The College works in partnership with employers in the long-term to shape the future of their business and secure the prosperity of the South West. We have years of experience working with businesses both nationally and in the local region.
Our training makes an impact on businesses whether it’s increasing staff retention, improving customer service or updating employees’ skills.
Employer satisfaction
In a recent employer satisfaction survey, in which more than 380 employers took part:
- 98% think the training they received was helpful
- 97% would recommend the College to another employer
- 94% are ‘satisfied or extremely satisfied’ with the training received by their employees

City of Bristol College has a team of expert business advisers to help you identify business needs and training solutions. We offer a free organisational needs analysis to find out your business needs and develop appropriate training packages.
A full menu of training programmes
Businesses have a choice from over 1,800 high quality courses. Your staff can benefit from gaining essential literacy and numeracy skills, occupational training, legislative qualifications or higher level professional development.

The College's business team has industry market insight and keeps up to date with the latest techniques to help give you a competitive advantage.
We offer appropriate courses that can be tailored to meet your specific needs. If you cannot find what you are looking for, we aim to create bespoke programmes or find a partner organisation to help meet your needs.
Flexibility for business
The College offers courses at a time and place to suit you, whether in-company or at College. Training is available throughout the year and out of hours – not just in term-time. Our assessors and trainers work to fit in with your employees’ working patterns.
Competitive prices and funding
We aim to maximise your return in investment with competitive prices and in-company rates. Our business advisers research funding opportunities to offset your training costs.
Industry-standard facilities
The College has sites throughout Bristol with industry-standard facilities for catering and hospitality, IT, motor vehicle, aeronautical, engineering, construction and hairdressing and beauty.

Our trainers have hands-on skills and real-life industry experience. All our assessors have up-to-date workplace skills and experience.
