Adult fee concessions
Free courses for adults
If you are in receipt of JSA or ESA (WRAG) and want the skills training to enter employment we have many courses that are available to you free of charge. Call 0117 312 2088 or email intowork@cityofbristol.ac.uk
Adults receiving a wide range of other benefits may be eligible for free* tuition on many of our courses
If you are in receipt of the following benefits: Council Tax Benefit; Housing Benefit; Income Support; Working Tax Credit, Pension Credit, or ESA (unless WRAG) and want the skills training to enter employment, we can also help.
Just visit your nearest City of Bristol College centre at Ashley Down, College Green, South Bristol Skills Academy, Parkway or Soundwell for advice and guidance on eligibility and specific course-related costs. Learners must complete a self declaration form at enrolment.
This also applies to unemployed dependants (a partner or child under the age of 25 entering full-time education) of those in receipt of benefits, and unemployed dependants of those in receipt of Working Tax Credits.
* You may still need to pay for course materials, exams and any other course-related fees.
