Catering Student Profiles
Our City Restaurant at our College Green Centre and our Cabot Restaurant at our Ashley Down Centre are both run by City of Bristol College Students.
Stirring up success in the 21st Nestlé Toque d'Or

Top 5 finalists
Catering students made the top 5 in the final of the UK’s biggest and best student catering competition – the 21st Nestlé Toque d'Or.
The College’s team was made up of students Andy Grant, Vicky Cragg, Mike Boyce, Mike Colling, Nathan Nelmes and Kelly Avis.
The Stockpot Restaurant
Students had to develop a restaurant concept which they had to present to the judges. They had to include details of the design for the "Stockpot Restaurant", how they would fund and staff it and devise a menu.
They then had to cook a sample three course meal from their menu for 100 people.
Celebrity judges
The judges included celebrity chef James Tanner, from Ready Steady Cook, and the team did the College proud.
