Higher Education Awards Day - 12 November 2011

The Higher Education Awards Day is a celebration of achievement to which all successful university level students are invited.

Photograph: Happy Awards Day students.Students, their family and friends are invited to attend the Awards Day, where a comprehensive range of higher level and professional qualifications - including Foundation Degrees, Degrees, HNCs, NVQs and PGCEs - are presented to students.

The ceremonies take place at Bristol Cathedral, College Green - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - and if eligible to attend you should receive your invitation by early September. The invitation will indicate which ceremony to attend.

As a student who has achieved a university level qualification, you are entitled to hire a robe and coloured hood (colours vary according to your qualification). Professional photographers will also be available to take your photograph. After the ceremony, which will last for approximately one hour, there will be canapé receptions held at College Green Centre which provide an opportunity to celebrate with family, friends, fellow students and tutors.
