Ashley Down Centre
After a £25 million refurbishment programme Ashley Down Centre is the focus for university level study at the College.
Facilities include:
- Dedicated Learning Resource Centre
- Modern classrooms and workshops
- Licensed restaurant
- Hair and beauty salons
Ashley Down Centre is also a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for Hospitality Services training at the College.
NEW! University Centre
The majority of higher education courses based at the Ashley Down Centre are taught in a new, designated University Centre.
Opened in September 2008, the University Centre provides a unique learning environment for university level students, including dedicated class rooms, a computer suite exclusively for the use of higher education students, and a social area to relax and catch up with your fellow students.

Located 3 miles from the city centre in Ashley Down.

College Green Centre
In the heart of the city, College Green Centre is close to the bars, clubs and other popular student haunts Bristol has to offer. This modern, purpose-built centre has been designed to help you make the most of your university-level course.
Where is it?
Located in Bristol's vibrant, lively harbourside development.

Our dance and performance courses also make use of local specialist facilities, including the Bristol Community Dance Centre and the Tobacco Factory Theatre.
Soundwell Centre
After a £7 million development programme, Soundwell Centre is a modern, superbly equipped learning and training centre. It is also home to the Business and Professional Studies faculty and Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Supervisory Management.
Facilities include:
- Learning Resource Centre
- Excellent IT and sports facilities
- Purpose-built nursery
- Modern hairdressing and beauty therapy salons
Where is it?
The centre is based in Soundwell, north east Bristol.
Parkway Transport Technology Centre
The College's Aeronautical Engineering training facility is located at Parkway Transport Technology Centre.
The College is the only one in the South West to offer Aeronautical Engineering training and this centre also boasts Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) status in this area.

The centre is based in Stoke Gifford, north Bristol
University partnerships
All university level courses at City of Bristol College are validated and run in partnership with a university, enabling students to also take advantage of the facilities and resources available from their partner university.
Accommodation
Designed for our university-level students, the College offers 70 study/living units in the heart of the city at affordable rents. They're shared, self-catering units, and are arranged in 16 five-bedroom clusters.
All the flats benefit from fully-furnished kitchens and spacious lounge areas.

From fast food to brasserie-style lunches, our restaurants and cafes offer you a wide range of food. And it's all prepared by our very own catering students!
The College has training restaurants which are open to the general public. The Engine Room at Bedminster Centre and the restaurant at Lawrence Weston Centre both offer quality food at affordable prices.
You can also take advantage of fine dining without the cost at Cabot Restaurant at Ashley Down Centre and City Restaurant at College Green Centre.
