I want to study full time. How much will it cost?

  • Photograph: Group of students in discussion.If you are classified as a 'home' student or from the EU, the tuition fees for university level courses in the UK are around £2,350 to £3,290 per year for full-time courses.
  • These prices are valid in the first year of study and are liable to increase slightly in line with inflation in subsequent years
  • There may also be additional costs for materials, exams or field visits on certain courses

I want to study part time. How much will it cost?

  • If you are classified as a 'home' students or from the EU, the tuiton fees for part-time Foundation Degrees and HNCs range from £920 per year to £1,350 per year.
  • These prices are valid in the first year of study and are liable to increase slightly in line with inflation in subsequent years (prices for professional courses vary please call the College on 0117 312 5211 or email HEinformation@cityofbristol.ac.uk for more information).
  • There may also be additional costs for materials, exams or field visits on certain courses.

I am an overseas student

Fees for overseas students (non EU) vary depending on which course you are doing. Please contact the Admissions Office on 0117 312 5211 for further details. There may be additional costs for materials or field visits on certain courses

Don't underestimate the cost of living

Students often underestimate the real cost of study and living. For a rough guide, a single student living away from home should budget £6,000 to £7,000 a year for items such as rent, food, bills, books and social activities.
