Foundation Degrees

What is a Foundation Degree?

  • High profile qualification that ensures you graduate with the skills needed to take you forward in your chosen career
  • Jointly designed by employers, the College and partner universities to ensure quality and maximise your employability by developing specialist skills and knowledge relevant to a particular sector of the industry. All Foundation Degrees are validated by a partner university
  • The majority of Foundation Degrees can be studied either full or part-time over two or three years, providing you with flexible study options to fit around your lifestyle and other commitments and responsibilities, such as work and family
  • A flexible qualification enabling you to choose whether to focus on your career or continue studying to gain an Honours Degree in just one year full-time
  • Can be studied straight after leaving school or College, but are equally useful for those currently in work to enhance knowledge and skills or to help change career direction
