Apprenticeship event - 9 Feb
City of Bristol College is to be part of an Apprenticeship event which will bring a wide range of experts together to showcase the best of the region’s vocational training.
The hands-on event, which will be held at @Bristol on Thursday 9 February, is expected to welcome hundreds of visitors during the course of the day.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to try a wide range of activities ranging from a hairdressing challenge and bricklaying to cake making and discovering how take a dent out of a car door correctly.
Claire Arbery, Head of Apprenticeships at City of Bristol College, comments: “As the largest provider of Apprenticeships in further education, this event represents the diversity of Apprenticeships on offer at the College and through other training providers.”
“With unemployment increasing, Apprenticeships are becoming a different route for all ages and stages of life. This event will allow visitors to discover more about how an Apprenticeship might be the path of choice for their future careers.”
The event will be open from 11am till 7pm, with local schools attending in the morning and the general public from 4pm onwards.
