City of Bristol College will be hosting an exciting and diverse Foundation Art & Design Exhibition at their College Green Centre. Friday 23rd June will see the pre-view from 6pm – 8pm and the exhibition will run on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th June from 9:00am – 4:30pm.

The cohort of students involves a great mix of creative people from all ages and walks of life who have spent the last one or two years exploring different aspects of Foundation Art & Design to refine and widen their skillset and find their pathway within the industry. After concluding the Foundation Diploma at City of Bristol College, students will either progress into Higher Education or seek employment in the field.

Mariana Lima, Foundation Art & Design student, said: "The greatest thing about the Art & Design Foundation course is that we're encouraged to try a wide range of media and techniques. The artwork produced for the end of year exhibition is the result of lots of experimentation and soul searching. We can't wait to share it with the public."

Tutor James O’Dwyer comments: “The exhibition shows a wide range of work by a diverse range of students who are progressing into pathways of different careers.  We are very excited to show their outstanding work.”

Visitors will be able to appreciate a selection of artworks such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, animation, fashion & interior design, in a variety of themes and media.

The event is free and open to the general public, showcasing the brilliant work of 24 City of Bristol College Foundation Art & Design students.
