Students unveil new exhibit in the heart of the city

First year students at City of Bristol College's FdA Professional Photography course have been given the opportunity to showcase new and exciting work at Salt Cafe on St Georges Road.

The work includes photographs shot around Bristol and locations from across Europe.

Kinga Kaczuba, one of the exhibiting students tells us more: “This exhibition is a special event for all of us. We initially had to plan the photoshoots, then edit the images and finally discuss a selection within the group to exhibit. I have thoroughly enjoyed having a taste of what it is like to set up an exhibition and I cannot wait to have discussions with victors during the exhibition.”

Salt's owner Alan Strawbridge commented: "We are delighted to host the exhibition of artwork from the College students and to showcase some truly excellent work. Our ethos at Salt Café is to use local and ethical suppliers whenever possible, as well as supporting local organisations and artists, so we are happy to work with our friends from the College who regularly visit us and support our work."

The exhibition starts on Wednesday 10th May and can be viewed from 9.00am until 3:00pm each day at the Salt Cafe until Wednesday 24th May.
