Surviving your first week isn't easy. Here are a few tips from those who've been there

Q: Sir, madam, your highness - how should you address teachers and staff?

A: In most cases, staff are happy for you to use their first name.

Q: Do we have to stay in College between lessons?

A: We don't insist that you stay in College between lessons. But we do encourage you to make good use of our excellent Learning Resource Centres (LRCs).

Q: What do I need to bring with me on the first day?

A: Your faculty will tell you if there's anything special you'll need to bring your to first day. If not, just bring a pen and paper.

Q: How do I get to College?

A: You can travel to each of our nine centres by public transport or car.

Q: What support is available to me?

A: We offer a range of excellent support services, from help with money management, disability, childcare, learning and language to finding accommodation.
