Assistant Director - Apprenticeships and Employer Based Training
Geoff joined us in June 2020. He is from Bristol and even studied for his A levels at Bristol City College. Beginning his career in marketing, Geoff then moved into the health sector, managing local health projects in areas of deprivation.
He holds a PGCE and BsC, and has 15 years experience in education and work-based learning, including lecturing at Bristol City College part time from 2006 to 2009. His background as an apprenticeship trainer and lecturer means he truly understands the learner journey.
Geoff has managed apprenticeship delivery across multiple sectors from care, health, retail, hospitality, active leisure, professional services to functional skills and additional learning needs. He spent 11 years working as a regional operations manager for the UK’s largest apprenticeship provider, where he managed national provision with up to 4700 apprentices at any one time.
In his spare time Geoff enjoys many sports; he plays football and cricket and loves a good walk.
