An AAT Accounting Fast-Track course in Bristol.
This is a demanding, part-time programme for students who want to fast-track their accountancy studies.
You will complete the Foundation Certificate in Accounting Level 2 and the Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3 in one year.
You will need to be driven and to be prepared to commit a considerable amount of time to personal study on this course.

This course is an excellent programme for you if you are looking to fast-track into an accountancy career.
What you'll learn
You will initially be introduced to the fundamental manual and computerised bookkeeping skills that will enable progression to increasingly complex finance office procedures, management information and the professional ethics of working in an accounting environment.
This will include the preparation of final accounts and VAT returns, management reporting and spreadsheets.
During the course you will study the following modules:
- bookkeeping transactions
- bookkeeping controls
- using accounting software
- advanced bookkeeping
- final accounts preparation.
Course entry requirements
You must have a good standard of spoken and written English and be competent in core numeracy skills.
You will be required to demonstrate these skills by completing an online assessment.
You will also be required to provide a reference supporting your ability to study on an intensive basis.
School leavers will be required to have achieved a minimum of 7 GCSE’s Grade 5 – 9 (A* – C) including Maths and English to enrol on this course.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed via AAT computer-based exams and synoptic assessments.
Future career and study opportunities
Upon successful completion of the AAT Accounting Level 3 Diploma, you may have the opportunity to progress to: Level 4 Accounting Diploma or Higher Education.
(NB: AAT Accounting Level 3 Diploma will give a maximum of 56 UCAS points)
You will need to pay an annual AAT Membership fee of £92. Students registering for the first time will also need to pay a one-off administration fee of £43.
If you are on a limited income, you may be eligible to receive help with these costs from our Learner Support Funding Bursary.
