Who is this course for?
For creative individuals who love storytelling, illustration, animation, and visual development, digitally.
What you'll learn
Concept drawing, digital painting, world-building, 3D modelling, narrative and character development, and generative AI.
The course encourages sustainable world-building and responsible storytelling, supported by new creative tools like AI.
This pathway is one of 5 pathways within our Applied Design practice programme, which covers the design principles, techniques and processes that can be applied across a wide range of design disciplines. Along with the specific pathway skills you can opt to follow, you will also learn the skills that are essential in design using traditional and digital methods. You will also immerse yourself in a range of design software (including Adobe, Infinity Studio, Canva, AutoDesk, Blender, Figma) and learn how Artificial Intelligence can be used in the design processes to create design products.
Course entry requirements
5 x GCSEs at grade 4 or above, or a Level 2 equivalent in a relevant subject. You will have gained either English and/or Maths at GCSE Level 4 or above, or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and/or Maths.
