Who is this course for?

This qualification is suitable for practitioners who assess knowledge or skills in vocationally related subject areas, with the opportunity to develop and improve their practice as well as achieving a professional qualification for their role.

This qualification is available to anyone working in; accredited learning, non- accredited learning, the NQF and the QCF.

This qualification is made up of two Units and totals nine credits.

What you'll learn

You will learn to assess the demonstration of understanding and skills in a classroom environment, using different assessment methods.

Course entry requirements

You will need two learners to assess.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

You will attend an induction workshop and complete course work to cover the knowledge unit.

You will need to be observed assessing 2 learners, covering 3 assessment in simulated environments.

Have evidence of attending standardisation meetings/activities.

Keep a record of your continuing professional development and reflect on your practice.

Future career and study opportunities

You can continue your studies and work towards Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance.
