Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone aged 19+ with a Level 2 beauty therapy qualification.

Course entry requirements
Progression from Level 2 Beauty Therapy and English GCSE grade 4 or above or English Functional Skill Level 2.
We will invite you to a course information meeting event where you will receive information, advice, and guidance about the course you have applied for. This will be an opportunity for you to gain valuable information about the course and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Applicants with attendance 85% or below on previous courses will been deemed not to have met criteria.
All applicants are given an opportunity to discuss any evidence- based mitigating circumstances that may have affected previous attendance report. We are firmly committed to finding the right course for you to ensure that you can flourish.

How is the course delivered and assessed?
You will learn through a combination of theory and practical lessons, and complete online exams and practical observations. You will be expected to practise the treatments on other students, and then work on clients from the general public.
Future career and study opportunities
Following completion of this course you could progress to higher education. You could also move into employment or self-employment as a beauty therapist.
Additional costs
As a City of Bristol College student, you may incur additional costs to attend your course. For example, it is likely you may need to pay for travel and stationery. For the Level 3 beauty course, you will be expected to purchase a uniform and a small kit.
If you are on a limited income, you may be able to receive help from our Learner Support Funding Bursary.
