You may be able to study for free, if you are aged 19+ and do not hold a full Level 3 qualification. Even if you do, you may be eligible to be fully funded for a 2nd depending on your home postcode. Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone aged 19+ with a Level 2 beauty therapy qualification.
What you'll learn
On this course you will learn:

- anatomy and physiology
- body massage
- facial electricals
- microdermabrasion
- manual and spray tanning
Course entry requirements
You must have completed either a Level 2 beauty therapy diploma or certificate. Evidence of excellent attendance, punctuality, and a commitment to study is essential.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
You will learn through a combination of theory and practical lessons, and complete assignments, online exams and practical exams. You will be expected to practise the treatments on other students, and then work on clients from the general public.
Future career and study opportunities
Following completion of this course you could progress to higher education. You could also move into employment or self-employment as a beauty therapist.
Additional costs
As a City of Bristol College student, you may incur additional costs to attend your course. For example, it is likely you may need to pay for travel and stationery. For the Level 3 beauty course, you will be expected to purchase a uniform and a small kit.
