BTEC Level 3 Civil Engineering Apprenticeship City of Bristol CollegeThe BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Civil Engineering (Apprenticeship) offered by Pearson in collaboration with City of Bristol College is designed for students pursuing a career in civil engineering.
This comprehensive course blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills, covering topics such as structural analysis, materials technology and construction project management.
Delivered through an apprenticeship model, 1 day will be spent at the South Bristol Skills Academy and 4 days are spent with the employer and students will gain hands-on experience in the industry while learning essential engineering principles achieved through work-based learning and targeted training within the college and workplace.
The programme prepares learners for roles in civil engineering, supporting their progression to higher education or employment in areas such as construction, infrastructure design and project management.

Course entry requirements
Level 2 Diploma in Construction, OR 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) to include English and Mathematics.
