BTEC Level 4 Higher Nationals in Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship City of Bristol College

The BTEC Level 4 National Extended Diploma in Civil Engineering, delivered by City of Bristol College in partnership with Pearson, will equip students with the essential knowledge and skills for a career in civil engineering.

This can be offered as part-time for those already working in civil engineering role or as an apprenticeship programme which combines academic learning with hands-on experience, covering topics like construction technology, site engineering, structural mechanics and sustainable design.

1 day will be spent at the Advanced Engineering Centre and 4 days will be spent with the employer.

Throughout the course you will get the opportunity to gain industry standard knowledge and invaluable practical experience, achieved through work-based learning and targeted training within the college and workplace. Learners develop practical expertise in areas such as surveying, materials testing, CAD and project management.

Graduates are prepared for various roles within the civil engineering industry, including site management and infrastructure development, while also gaining a nationally recognised qualification for career advancement.
