Business Administration Higher Apprenticeship City of Bristol College

Master business administration skills with this higher apprenticeship.

You will learn how to manage self-development, communicate in a business and how to use business administration systems.

The Level 4 is a natural progression from the Level 3 apprenticeship, we recommend that you first complete the Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships in Business Administration. There are exceptions if you can show at least two years of experience and knowledge, but this depends on your employer.

What you'll learn

The Level 4 is a higher apprenticeship in which you can master your business administration skills. This is the best combination for you to gain on the job training and a higher level qualification to push your business expertise to the next level.

You will attend College sessions one day a week on our Higher Degree Business Administration courses.

Entry requirements

You will need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours a week in the relevant responsible role which matches the units for the apprenticeship.

To join this course you will need to have: English and/or Maths with a minimum grade C or grade 4 equivalent, Level 3 or equivalent qualification in business or administration.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

Your progress and competence will be evidenced through the collection of evidence using an online portfolio such as observations, discussions, written tasks and work evidence. You will be supported by a College assessor who will visit you every 4-6 weeks to support your progress through the apprenticeship.

Next steps include progressing to a Management Apprenticeship.
