On this apprenticeship, you will learn how to resolve problems and provide the best service possible. You will complete the course with excellent customer service skills that many employers look for.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for anyone interested in learning excellent customer service skills and work with customers on a daily basis.

What you'll learn

As part of your apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service. You’ll learn how to communicate effectively.

Course entry requirements

To undertake an apprenticeship you will need to be employed (minimum 30 hours per week). Search for apprenticeship vacancies.

Customer service apprentices must be confident when dealing with people and have the passion to provide the best possible service.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

This apprenticeship is awarded by City and Guilds. You will need to pass an endpoint assessment in the form of an observation, a professional discussion and a portfolio interview.

An assessor will visit the apprentice regularly in the workplace. The apprentice will attend College to complete Functional Skills in English and Maths if applicable.

Future career and study opportunities

On successful completion of Level 2, you may be able to progress onto the Level 3 Apprenticeship if your job role and position allows.
