This course is for anyone with an interest in first aid or the responsibility as an appointed person in the workplace.
What you'll learn
The Emergency First Aid is a one-day course which covers the basic of First Aid specifically for the workplace. You will learn about handling first aid situations and how to resuscitate someone and control bleeding. You will gain immediate basic treatment of various injuries and illnesses.
Course entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course but delegates must be able to cope with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
During this course you will complete a number of activities, multiple choice test papers and practical assessments in a classroom environment.
Future career and study opportunities
After successfully completing this course, you can move onto another first aid and health and safety course.
Alongside the course fee, you will need to pay for the Highfield book.
Many First Aid students are supported with fees covered by their employer.
