This two-day requalification course will ensure your first-aid knowledge and skills are up-to-date. First-aid certificates are valid for up to three years and you can attend this requalification course up to three months before your certificate expires.
Who is this course for?
This course is for individuals who currently hold a First Aid at Work Certificate or a First Aid Requalification certificate which is due to expire.
What you'll learn
The Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification course is a mandatory programme which ensures current First Aiders remain updated and competent. The programme covers the same content as the workplace course but is ran over two days and must be completed every three years.
Course entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Please note, certificates are valid for three years. First aiders may attend a requalification course up to three months before the certificate expires. Where this is not possible, Highfield will allow an extension of maximum of 28 days beyond the expiry date, after this, they will be required to retake a full First Aid at Work course.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
During this course you will complete a number of activities, multiple choice test papers and practical assessments in a classroom environment.
Future career and study opportunities
After successfully completing this course, you can move onto a First Aid at Work course or another first aid and health and safety course.
Alongside the course fee, you will need to pay for the Highfield book.
Many First Aid students are supported with fees covered by their employer.
