This five-week course is for adults who want to build their profile of skills to start a career within the beauty industry or add to the range of treatments they offer as a practising beauty therapist.
You will have five, three-hour sessions with a fully qualified beauty therapy lecturer, covering the theory and practical elements of Indian head massage and allowing plenty of time for you to practise and receive feedback on your technique.

Who is this course for?
This course is for adults aged 19+ who want to expand their skills in beauty therapy, whether or not they already work in the industry.

Course entry requirements
You will need to be able to read and communicate using spoken English so that you can carry out a consultation and be able to take notes during classes. Students should therefore have GCSE English at grade 3(D) or Functional Skills Level 1 or equivalent.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
The course is delivered through practical demonstrations followed by the opportunity for students to carry out the treatment and the lecturer to provide feedback. You will also learn the theory required to achieve your qualification.
Future career and study opportunities
After completing this course, you can progress to Level 2 Beauty Therapy Certificate or Diploma, or Level 3 Holistic Therapy Diploma if you do not already hold a beauty therapy qualification. If you are already a beauty therapist, you will be qualified to offer Indian head massage to clients.

No additional beauty kit is required for this course. All equipment will be provided.
