Have fun, make friends and learn Italian. Want to enjoy your holiday more or need to use Italian in your job? This two-hour-a-week, 12-week programme course is for adults aged 19 and over. You will learn to introduce yourself, order the right drink, ask the way and buy what you need.
Who is this course for?
This 12-week (2 hours per week in College) course is for complete beginners or beginners who may have taken a very short introductory course. Please note this course is not suitable if you have already studied Italian for more than a few weeks.
What you'll learn
You will gain an insight into the culture and customs of Italy and learn to use and understand simple phrases and questions in Italian, and to exchange information in familiar situations. You will work in small groups or in pairs with a variety of enjoyable learning methods and resources. Homework will be set to offer an opportunity for independent study backed up with online resources.
Course entry requirements
All you need to join the course is an interest in the language and bags of enthusiasm and motivation.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
There will be very informal assessments by yourself and your tutor throughout the course.

You will need to buy the course book (costing approximately £20).
