Want to enjoy your holiday more or need to use Japanese in your job? This part-time, 16-week course, for adults aged 19 and over, could be for you. You will learn to introduce yourself, order the right drink, ask the way and buy what you need. Have fun and make friends while learning Japanese.
Who is this course for?
This 16-week (1.5 hour per week in College) course is specifically designed for complete beginners with no knowledge of the Japanese language.
What you'll learn
Gain an insight into Japanese culture and customs and learn to use and understand simple phrases and questions in Japanese, and to exchange information in familiar situations. You will work in small groups or in pairs with a variety of enjoyable learning methods and resources. Homework will be set to offer an opportunity for independent study backed up with online resources.
Course entry requirements
All you need to join the course is an interest in the Japanese language and bags of enthusiasm and motivation to learn.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed via informal assessments by yourself and your tutor throughout the course.

You will need to buy the course book (costing approximately £20).
