Level 4 Diploma in Early Years Montessori Pedagogy City of Bristol CollegeThis course is comprised of two modules taken from the NCFE CACHE Level 4 Diploma in Early Years Montessori Pedagogy, designed to provide CPD for those working in Early Years Settings with an interest in the Montessori philosophy and approach.

Who is this course for?
This course is for Early Years Practitioners who are working or volunteering in any type of early years setting, who already have an Early Years qualification at Level 3.
What you'll learn
Module 2: The Montessori Philosophy – key principles and practices, the historical context, how the theories are applied, the favourable environment and the role of the Montessori educator
Module 3: Principles of Child Development and Observation in an Early Years Montessori Learning Environment – the holistic nature of child development, key frameworks for assessing development, the role of play, the core Montessori philosophy of ‘following the child’ through observation, tuning in to the unique potential of every child
Course entry requirements
To be working or volunteering in an Early Years setting (does not have to be a Montessori setting) and to already hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
Classroom delivery over 10 weeks, 3 hours per week. Assessed via written work.
Future career and study opportunities
This course is designed to provide a CPD opportunity for qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners.
