This course is for students who are working at Foundation Level and who will progress to higher level qualifications, internships, apprenticeships or employment.
In addition to studying English and maths at the appropriate level, students with have the opportunity to access vocational sessions (e.g. Motor Vehicle, Catering, Horticulture and IT) as well as authentic industry placements.
Students are taught in small group sizes with specialist tutors, and are supported to develop their independence, communication and social skills, in preparation for their next steps.
This course has been designed for students with high anxiety, who would benefit from a highly structured and supported environment in their first year in college.

Who is this course for?
This is an inclusive course for students with high anxiety who may find transitioning to college challenging. This programme is aimed at students who are at Entry Level 2 to Level 2.
What you'll learn
All Inclusive Curriculum programmes include a variety of subjects. This includes English, communication skills, maths, IT, personal and social development, vocational training, work experience, independent living and tutorial sessions.
You will have a personal tutor who will review your learning objectives and set you targets. These will link to your Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and other planned outcomes.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
You will receive specialised, targeted support. We offer small group sizes, learning assistant support and specialist teachers.

If you want to gain employment, live a more independent life or progress to higher-level study, you will get support to achieve your goals.
As a City of Bristol College student, you may incur additional costs to attend your course. For example, it is likely you may need to pay for travel and stationery.
Many courses offer learning opportunities that you may need to pay for. This may include things like visits within the community, or ingredients for a catering lesson. We will let you know in advance if there will be additional costs.
If you are on a limited income, you may be able to receive help from our Learner Support Funding Bursary.
