Who is this course for?
This course is for young people aged 16-18. If you are interested in photography but had very little experience with the subject are then this may be the right start for you. You do not need to have any previous art qualifications to enrol onto this course.
What you'll learn
You will study the basic in photography and digital media. you will be given the opportunity to develop their technical skills through a process of self-evaluation, practice and review.
Course entry requirements
4 x GCSEs at Level 3 or above including Maths and/or English or equivalent. A portfolio of work or a clear interest in photography.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
All assessment is through coursework, with an internally assessed portfolio of evidence. There are no exams.
Future career and study opportunities
This course prepares you to study Photography at Level 3, after which you may progress into university, entry-level employment, or a media apprenticeship.
