Trade Union Health and Safety Stage 1 City of Bristol College

This is the core course for trade union health and safety representatives. It is the first stage in the TUC health and safety training programme. It is designed to help you build the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to carry out your work as a safety rep.

It is taught for 60 hours over a number of weeks.

On completion of the course, you will achieve a Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety.

To enrol on this course you will need:

  • To be a trade union representative

How is the course delivered and assessed?

This course is currently delivered online with full tutor support.

Assessment is through course work, there are no exams.

This course will help you improve your skills as a Rep. You may continue to more Unison courses.
