Who is this course for?

This is a full-time college course for students aged 17-19 who have completed Levels 2 and 3 in make up and would like a qualification in Higher Education to progress into university, theatre work, TV and film work, Freelance Make up Artist, Make up Designer, Wig Technician and body paint.

What you'll learn

Learning will be tailored to your chosen subject specialism and will include topics such as: high fashion make up design, prosthetics creation and application, wig styling and fitting to include caged period wigs, body painting and airbrush work.

Course entry requirements

Grade 4 in English and Grade 4 in Maths and Level 2 and 3 in Media/ Theatrical Make up.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

The course is delivered in a series of modules which include an internally set and marked project as well as a final end-of-year project which is internally set and externally marked.
