This course covers a wide range of areas including children and young people\u2019s development, supporting children and young people\u2019s positive behaviour and communication and professional relationships.<\/p>\n<p>It is aimed at learners working in roles which support pupils\u2019 learning in primary, secondary or special schools as well as college.<\/p>\n<p>You will be required to find your own school placement where you will gain practical experience as a teaching assistant in a voluntary capacity.
